On exhibit at the Archaeology Gallery of National Museum Eastern-Northern Mindanao is “Ginikanan" or "Gigikanan” which means “parent" or "origin” in English and "magulang" or "pinagmulan" in Filipino.
The “Ambangan” exhibit at the Ethnology Gallery of National Museum Eastern-Northern Mindanao features the different indigenous communities such as Butuanons, Manobos, Higaonons, and Mamanwa, through the contemporary implements they use for survival like gold panning, fishing, farming, weaving, crafting, food gathering, etc. and the food products yielded such as local starch and wine. Also included are their musical instruments.
